It is the branch of dentistry aiming at replacing missing teeth. There are different options to achieve this: removable, fixed and implants.

Implants: they are titanium screws that integrates into the bone to replace  missing roots. They can be used to hold a single crown, bridges or attachments to retain dentures.

Removable: most commonly known as dentures, these are appliances that can be put in and out. The comfort and appearance depends on the type of material used. Clasps and other attachments can be used to improve the retention.

Fixed: bridges replace the missing tooth or teeth by being cemented permanently to the teeth next to the missing one. Like crowns, the teeth holding the bridge require reduction and appropriate shaping
